Barbara De Angelis was born on March 4, 1951 in Philadelphia. She
earned a degree in psychology in college and went on to specialize
in relationship problems and personal development.
With the
success of her first book, and wide recognition, De Angelis soon
became an in-demand speaker and media personality. She appeared on
shows such as Oprah, The View, and Good Morning America. She was the
relationship expert for CNN for two years, hosted a talk show in Los
Angeles, and had her own show on CBS. De Angelis produced her own
infomercial called "Making Love Work," and made a PBS
special called "Love Secrets."
Barbara De Angelis
went on to write several other books that became best sellers. She
has sold over eight million books in twenty languages. In addition,
she has published articles in many notable magazines such as
Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Readers Digest, and Family Circle.
